FAQs

Should I copyright my poetry?

  * It already is. Copyright is automatic under U.S., and your work is inherently protected the moment it is created and put in tangible form (In a book or on Writers Foundation LLC, etc.).

  * However, you may want to register a copyright if you wish to file a lawsuit alleging a copyright infringement. By registering a copyright, you are potentially entitled to greater damages if and when you go to court. Registration is not a condition of copyright protection.

Why can't I see a link or banner correctly?

  * It will only display content correctly to visitors using Internet Explorer 6 (or above) or any Mac browser, with the Flash 10 player. This limitation is due to known bugs in the Flash player, Firefox, Chrome and other browsers, and is outside of our control. As and when fixes are released for these problems we'll update the widget accordingly.

How do I submit poetry?

  * Fill out the Upload a file portion under the Contact Us tab. You will be able to attach your piece and send. Please do not paste your work into the message box. Poetry and short stories are usually posted within 24 hours.

How do I remove my poetry?

  * Fill out the form on the Contact Us tab requesting that a poem(s) be removed from the website.

How do I get my information on the Contributing Artists’ Bio page?

  * You must first become a member to Writers Foundation LLC. From there you can submit a short bio, picture and piece to be posted onto the website.

Is there a media player on the site?

  * Yes, go to the Stress Relieve section on the site. Music will begin to automatically play. You can choose from the songs that are available. You will be able to hear the music as you navigate through the site.
